Fwd: BIS # 3909 ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE TO BAL JESU SHRINE

NASHIK-MAHARASHTRA, FEBRUARY 14, 2014:On 9th, February 2014, the feast of Infant Jesus, Nashik, the parishioners of St John the Baptist Church, Bhingar made their annual pilgrimage to Nashik Shrine.

Around fifty five pilgrims from Bhinagar attended the Festive Eucharist and also joined other pilgrims at Mass on arrival at midday. There were masses being held every hour in English & Marathi. The people then took part in the yatra and mela around the shrine.
After that, they left for a visit to Don Bosco, Divyadaan. The group left Nashik at five in the evening to stop at Sinnar and paid a visit to Swami Shilanand, the Indian Jesuit Baba at his Ashram.
A pilgrim said, “A day spent in union with the Infant Jesus was a day of peace, passion and prayers sent above and prayers received below. It was pilgrimage of Thanksgiving which expressed the attitude of gratitude”.
