BORIVLI – MUMBAI, JULY 11,2014: The students of Don Bosco High School, Borivli, celebrated the feast of St. Dominic Savio with great zest on July 4, 2014. The occasion began on a prayerful note with Mass and a prayer service. The exceptional deeds and quotes of Dominic Savio were remembered. The boys were shown a short video clip from the life of St. Dominic Savio who always lived by the motto, 'Death rather than Sin The solemn prayer service conveyed the message that there would be temptations and peer pressure all along the way. However, a firm resolve like that of Dominic Savio, would lead one to sainthood. His determination, piety and goodwill always shone through his deeds.
Football moves, square ball throws and dodge ball dodges; were the games played by the boys of the High School and the Middle School. They enjoyed the fun-filled activities and indoor telly games to the fullest. The colourful clown attires that were dressed by the boys themselves, added a touch of laughter to the happy occasion. With prayer and play, faith and fun, it was indeed a feast to remember.
