BARODA-GUJARAT, JULY 31, 2014: A seminar was organized by the Uplift Humanity India team (an institute that works for the good of the poor and abandoned people) from July 14-26, 2014. Uplift Humanity India team looks into the protection of human rights and child rights. The senior boys from Don Bosco Snehalaya, Baroda participated in this seminar. The seminar was based on the behavioral patterns to different situations one could face on a daily basis.
Various activities were conducted during the course of the seminar. Leadership skills, team work, anger management, friends making, sharing life experiences were among the topics that were given much importance. Apart from this the Uplift Humanity India team also conducted sessions during which the children were taught stitching, craft making and making good use of plastics. In short, Uplift Humanity India team conducted the sessions that were helpful for the student's human growth.
On the final day of the seminar an exam was conducted on the basis of what they had been taught. Nadeem Sheik a student of Baroda won the Second prize and the others received consolation prizes. The team also thanked Don Bosco Snehalaya house for sending the students for the seminar. The Director of Uplift Humanity India team also awarded a cheque of Rs.15, 000 to Nadeem Sheik for his study expenses. The team congratulated Nadeem Sheik and the participants who attended the seminar.
