NERUL-MUMBAI, SEPTEMBER 1, 2014: The Value Education Programme on "DON BOSCO – A MAN OF SERVICE" was presented by the students of class VII A on AUGUST 26, 2014 at Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul. Out of the total strength of thirty-eight students, thirty-four students took part in the programme.The students were trained under the guidance of Tr. Annie Gomez and Tr. Divya Aranha.
The programme began with the "SALESIAN ANTHEM" followed by the skit-"The Mission of Don Bosco". The children also highlighted the service of Salesians through a mesmerizing dance accompanied by a wide display of the contributions of Salesians and the provinces established by them in India through a powerpoint presentation. The programme came to an end with Fr. Principal appreciating the students for their creativity and innovative idea of clubbing both the dance and the powerpoint presentation.
The vote of thanks was given by teacher Ms. Annie Gomez and supervisor Mr. Pankaj Rai emphasized the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi and his service to mankind as a part of the noon talk. The class was able to put up a good show because of their hard work and persistence. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
