LONAVLA-PUNE, SEPTEMBER 1, 2014: Don Bosco Lonavla conducted a three-day retreat for the Apostolic boys and Aspirants from August 28-31, 2014 and one-day retreat for the day-scholars on August 30, 2014.
The retreat for the Aspirants and the Apostolic boys began on August 28, 2014 at 6.45 p.m. in the Down Chapel. The Rector, Fr. Solomon Rapol introduced and thanked the retreat preachers – Fr. Lloyd Rodrigues (for Std. XII), Fr. McEnroe Lopes (for Std. VIII to X), and Bro. Ramesh Durairaj (for Std. XI). The preachers took their group to their respective places and began with the first talk.
The next two days were dedicated to prayer and reflection. The ambience of silence was strictly maintained. Each day ended with the adoration. August 30, was also dedicated for the sacrament of reconciliation.
The day-scholars had a one-day retreat on August 30, 2014. Bro Bryce Fernandes and Cl. Clarence Martis conducted the retreat for the boys of Std. V to X, while Fr. Solomon Rapol conducted the retreat for the boys and girls of Std. XI and XII. All the boys and girls were grateful to the retreat preachers for their availability. They expressed that the retreat was fruitful and an enriching experience.
