LONAVLA-PUNE, SEPTEMBER 13, 2014: Don Bosco High School and Junior College, Lonavla organized a Hindi Elocution competition on September 12, 2014 in the Boarding Hall. It was conducted under 2 categories - seniors (VIII – XII) and inters (V-VII). The students prepared and delivered their speeches excellently. The topics selected were appreciated by Fr. Rector as they dealt with current issues in the world.
The Rector, Fr. Solomon Rapol, Fr. Gregory (Administrator), Mrs. Savita along with other external judges judged the competition. It was organized by Mrs. Sunita Sonavane (Hindi Teacher), Sir Dinesh and Sir Chatterjee under the able guidance of Fr. George Carlos (Principal). The students were appreciated by all. Fr. Solomon congratulated the speakers and gave them some tips concerning language skills. Thereafter the Principal proposed a vote of thanks and congratulated the winners.
