LONAVLA-PUNE, SEPTEMBER 25, 2014: Don Bosco Junior College had the fresher's day for the students of Std. XI on 19 September 2014. The fresher's day was organized by the students of Std. XII. The Management, Staff and the students of Std. XI and XII attended the programme. The dress code for the freshers' was 'Retro.'
The programme began at 9:00am with a short prayer service. Thereafter, a speech on the laurels achieved by Don Bosco Lonavla was given and the institute extended its gladness at receiving a new batch of students in its care. The 'Ramp Walk' that followed was an instant hit. Many students participated in it. Fr. Rector gave a thought to all the students on the challenges that each student had to endure on their journey of life.
The students of Std. XII danced to a retro medley. This was followed by some spot prizes for the fresher's. The students showed their appreciation with a dance. Fr. Principal proposed the vote of thanks. This was followd by snacks and the 'Jam Session'. The students enjoyed themselves to the hilt. The programme concluded at 11.30 a.m.
