NERUL-MUMBAI, SEPTEMBER 30, 2014: Value Education aims at promoting broader capabilities, attitudes and skills that matter not just in schools but, also life beyond schools, making the world a better place not just for themselves but also for their family, friends and society. The Preparatory B class of Dominic Savio Kindergarten, Nerul organized a value education on tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the assembly hall at 8.45 a.m on the topic "Forest Animals." They were assisted by their class teacher, Sweta Supriti.

The objective of the programme was to inculcate the value of Friendship, irrespective of size, colour, and language among students, as friendship is a feeling of love, sharing and caring. Children portrayed the characters of various Wild animals and depicted the value of 'Friendship.' The children were made to understand that a real friend was one who helped his/her friend in need and stands by them in the day of their adversity; children also develop stage confidence and communication skills.

The topic was apt as per the syllabus and very well presented. The teachers felt the programme was well executed with creative ideas. Fathers, teachers and parents appreciated the programme. The children enjoyed the programme.
