BHINGAR-AHMEDNAGAR, NOVEMBER 11, 2014: On November 8, 2014  the junior youth group of St . John's Church, Bhingar, organized a grand 'Bal Mela' in the Agadgaon village with the help of Brs. Justus Mendis and Evangelo D'souza sdb. About seventy children and youth witnessed the mela together with the entire village being. The mela began at 3:00 p.m. with the prayer service inspired from the scripture passage 'Jesus blesses little children'.

It ended with the action song 'Duniya Gol Banaya' with all the children praising God for His marvellous creation. After which, the fete games began with the DJ creating an ambience of joy, fun and cheerfulness. The brothers organized party games viz., fire on the mountain and parcing the parcel for all the village members who actively participated in it and enjoyed themselves.

The event came to its climax at 6:30 p.m. at the grotto where the whole village prayed for their children and for the prosperity of their village through the intercession of our blessed mother, during the rosary. The token shop was a big excitement for the kids and they were thrilled to go away home happy with each picking up a small prize. The children relished the simple yet delicious meal prepared by the elderly women of the village assisted by the youth of Agadgaon.

The women and the youth of both Agadgaon and Bhingar were appreciated in front of the large gathering for the time spent and the efforts put in organising the joyful event. One of the elders of the village commented, 'It was a beautiful sight to see the entire village gathered at the Grotto venerating our Blessed Mother.' It was also good to see some children thanking the organizers for organizing the event and filling their hearts with joy.
