LONAVLA-PUNE, NOVEMBER 13, 2014: Don Bosco, Lonavla organized an educational trip to Jodhpur-Jaisalmer for its students from November 5-10, 2014. Seventeen students enrolled for this trip and they were accompanied by a staff member and a PTA member. The trip was organized by Adventure Tours Pvt. Ltd.
The students left for Jodhpur via Mumbai on November 5, 2014. On reaching the hotel at Jodhpur on the next day, they had a sumptuous breakfast and then left for sightseeing to Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhavan. Post lunch, they had the rest of the day to themselves. The next morning, November 7, 2014, they left for Jaisalmer. They checked into the hotel at lunch time and had a grand lunch. In the evening they visited the man-made Gadisar lake.
On November 8, after breakfast, they left to see the Jaisalmer Fort and Patwon ki Haveli. In the evening, they enjoyed watching the grand Sand dunes in the Thar desert. They had a wonderful Camel Safari followed by an entertaining traditional Rajasthani programme. On November 9, 2014, they left Jaisalmer for Jodhpur station to catch the train back to Mumbai and from there to Lonavla by bus. The students had a wonderful and educational trip in the scenic beauty of Rajasthan.
