BIS # 4233 CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION AT NERUL

NERUL-MUMBAI, NOVEMBER 19, 2014: Dominic Savio Kindergarten, Nerul celebrated Children's Day on November 14, 2014 in the assembly hall. Children's Day commemorates the birth anniversary of India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru; an apostle of peace and great appreciator of children. The children came in party wear and were very excited. All the Pre-Primary teachers made the day special by singing a song and dancing for the children. The preparatory students also put up a dance. Snacks and gifts were distributed in the class room.

The objective behind celebrating 'Children's Day' was to make the children feel special and loved. It also aimed at bringing the children to appreciate the contribution of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for the welfare of future generation. Teachers felt it was a very interesting way of celebrating the event. All the children along with the parents enjoyed the programme. It was a fun-filled day for the students and teachers. Fr. Principal appreciated the programme.
