by Raksha Shetty

NERUL-MUMBAI, DECEMBER 6, 2014: Value education programme is simply a matter of developing appropriate behavior and habits involving inculcation of certain virtues and habits. Value Education, according to one more view, is essentially a matter of educating the feelings and emotions. In Dominic Savio Kindergarten the value education programme is presented through a stage programme where children present a value through a skit, song and dance.

A family is made of people who love, care for, look out for, and are always there for each other, we always look upon our elders for their guidance and should respect them under all circumstances.

Value education programme on 'MY FAMILY' was presented on Thursday, December 4, 2014, in the ground floor assembly hall. It was organized by Tr. Raksha Shetty, class teacher of Pre Preparatory-D. Total of 34 students participated in the dance, skit and prayer. The value reflected through this programme was 'Respect your elders.'

The primary objective of the programme was to instill the value, respect elders and to stay together. Children were trained to portray family values and discipline. Students gained confidence and there was a remarkable progress in their communication skills. Fr. Principal, Fr. Manager and Supervisor ma'am appreciated the programme.
