BIS # 4285 BICENTENARY YEAR CELEBRATIONS AT BORIVLI

BORIVLI-MUMBAI, DECMBER 15, 2014: To celebrate the Bicentenary Birth of Don Bosco, Interschool Competitions were held from December 3-5, 2014. Our fellow Educational Institutes were invited to partake in the bicentenary celebrations. The competitions were organized under various categories. 


Group 1 – Sub Juniors (std. 1st to 4th) – Look Alike, Recreate Picasso (Arts) and Props Rock (Solo Dance)
Group 2 – Juniors (std. 5th to 7th) – Participated in the events viz – Razz Matazz (Fashion Show), Christmas is a Reason for celebration (Art work) and Krazy Kiya Re (Western Solo Dance)
Group 3 – Inters (std. 8th to 10th) – Had events viz – It's time to save the planet:- Poster Design, Chalo Kuch Gungunaye (Duet singing) and Beat it! – Instrumental.
Group 4 – Seniors (std. 11th and 12th) – Participated in Tatto Design, Prop roll and The Retrocals (Solo singing)


The students got a platform for expression and an opportunity for self enhancement. Trophies and Certificates were awarded to the students for their performance in various events. The event helped in inculcating in the students the value of discipline, humility, honesty, fair play and perseverance. The celebration was a grand success.
