LONAVLA-PUNE, DECEMBER 18, 2014: The Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul organised a picnic for students of the Junior College on December 13, 2014. A total number of 118 students, from Classes XI and XII, were taken to the water park at United 21 Resort, Lonavla. The long awaited picnic was a welcome break from studies, as they got an opportunity to unwind and bond with their friends.
The students boarded their buses at 9 a.m. They sang and danced to their favourite numbers during the journey which left them exhilarated. After a scrumptious breakfast at the resort, the students rushed to the water park. The wave pool was an instant hit where the students played and splashed about happily. They also had a great time on the thrilling water rides.
Lunchtime had the students savouring the Indian and Chinese delicacies that were served. Post lunch, some of them waddled around in bright floating tubes, while the others danced till they dropped. However, like all good things, the picnic too had to end. At 4 p.m., the students boarded the buses reluctantly, unwilling to have such a wonderful day draw to a close. "A perfect picnic– I feel refreshed and energised," said one of the students as they returned home with a storehouse of memories.
