MATUNGA-MUMBAI, DECEMBER 9, 2014: The Salesian Cooperators of the Mumbai Province had their annual study session on Sunday November 30 2014 at the Provincial House, Matunga. To facilitate outstation participants, the meet was held from 10.00am to 1.00pm. Fr. Vivian D'Souza, the delegate for the Salesian Family, led the group in prayer and then showed a video of a hymn to St. John Bosco.
With the help of a power-point presentation he then took the group through the Statutes and Regulations of the new "Project of Life" for the Salesian Cooperators. There are several new and meaningful features in the new rule book, and the participants were made to understand the spirit behind the changes that were incorporated. After the presentation, we had a small refreshment break and then Fr. Mathew Coutinho, from Nashik, traced out for us some salient features from the life of St. John Bosco, which was in keeping with the bicentenary celebrations of the Birth of Don Bosco. The Provincial Coordinator wound up the morning with some announcements and exhortations.
