ALIRAJPUR-MADYA PRADESH, FEBRUARY 6, 2015: The feast of our father and founder St. John Bosco was celebrated on January 31, 2015. The day began with a short morning prayer which included clippings on the life of Don Bosco. The main focus of the day was the Holy Eucharist celebrated by Fr. George, the vice-rector of the minor seminary of the Diocese of Jhabua. He preached on the dream of Don Bosco at the age of 9.

He focused on the four aspects of growth namely the Church, School, Playground and Home. He elaborated on each of these with examples from the life of Don Bosco.
The next part of the celebration continued at 7:30 p.m. with a prayer service that was conducted for all the priests and religious of the Diocese on 'Don Bosco' in our community in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.

The lighting of the lamp was done by Rev. Fr. Peter Kharadi, the Chancellor of Jhabua Diocese. The statue was garlanded by Rev. Fr. Glen, the Principal of the School of Excellence, Don Bosco, Alirajpur. Following the prayer service, two students were awarded for their outstanding performance for scoring 82% and 81% from Hindi and English medium respectively in honour of Don Bosco.

We also released a new newsletter in Bhili for the first time inclusive of articles from Don Bosco Alirajpur and Jhabua. The day concluded with the boys tapping their feet to the beats of the Mandal music and songs in Bhili.
