LONAVLA-PUNE, FEBRUARY 14, 2015: The Community of Don Bosco, Lonavla celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes with devotion and fervour on February 11, 2015. The festive 
day began with the solemn Eucharist at the grotto at 6.30 a.m. Fr. Lester Fernandes, the main celebrant, spoke about our Lady of Lourdes and the message that all the apparitions of Mary highlighted, namely, Prayer, Repentance and Love for the Church.
After dinner the community gathered again at the grotto to pray the rosary. Various intentions were put forth; a few among them were for the sick, for women who are abused, for the Christians who are persecuted for the faith and so on. After the rosary, the community viewed a 30-minute movie on the life of St. Bernadette and Our Lady of Lourdes. The community truly spent the day of Our Blessed Mother in prayer and thanksgiving.
