NASHIK-MAHARSHTRA, MARCH 7, 2015: On March 3, the community of Divyadaan bid goodbye to the final year brothers of the MPh, BPh and Diploma courses. The central part of the evening was the Holy Eucharist. The theme selected for the occasion was, 'You are a message' referring to the mission entrusted to them by Jesus to be His Word to all those to whom they will be sent.
The Rector, Fr Robert Pen, said that the outgoing brothers represented what Divyadaan stands for: brotherly spirit, openness, trust, solidarity and generosity. He exhorted the brothers to carry these virtues to the communities to which they will be sent. He further urged them to model their lives after our master Jesus.
Thereafter the community gathered for a family circle to express gratitude to the departing brothers. Lively songs, a dance and an address marked the evening before enjoying a delicious family meal. The day was indeed filled with a sense of joy and gratitude.
