MUMBAI, JUNE 6, 2015: In a historic first for the state of Maharashtra, Yamaha motors signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bosco Boys' Home in Borivali to set up a Yamaha Training School.

The initiative is meant to help youth from economically weaker sections of society to gather technical knowledge, to help them secure employment and a brighter future.

The National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) approved the curriculum for the programme. The motor giant has set up six training centres at Don Bosco campuses across different states in the past.

Father Anthony Satarita, Director of Bosco Boys Home and Ravinder Singh, Vice President, Strategy and Planning, Yamaha Motor India were present to mark the occasion.
