NAVI MUMBAI, JULY 3, 2015: Ever fancied talking in mandarin or learning martial arts like the Shaolin monks? Well, students from standard nine of Don Bosco High School, Nerul got a taste of Chinese culture by basing their value education programme on our neighbour on the eastern front- China.
The students showcased their theme, 'Culture of China – Hard Work & Determination' through skits, dances and Power point presentations on June 30.
Students captured the life of Jack Ma, a Chinese business magnate and founder of Alibaba, an e-commerce company that provides consumer-to-consumer, business-to-consumer and business-to-business sales services via web portals.
The audience was then taken on a virtual tour of China through a power point presentation. The audience got some live action too, through a traditional Chinese dance performance by the students.
