NAVI MUMBAI, JULY 14, 2015: Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul celebrated the feast of Dominic Savio on the July 10 and also installed the office bearers for the academic year.
Through skits and melodious hymns the great saint was honoured. His virtuous life of 'doing all things perfectly for the glory of God' was the underlying message.
School leaders were then sworn- in though the investiture ceremony. The young heads vowed to follow in the footsteps of the great saint through joyful service.
Father Adolph Furtado, Director of Don Bosco International School, also in-charge of the School Education Board of Mumbai Province was the chief guest.
He motivated the student's to imbibe the little saint's extraordinary quality, 'Obedience to the unforced'. To the newly appointed school council he said, "Prefects are significant role models and are expected to uphold the high standards and values of the school."
