BIS #4493 THE ART OF TEAM WORK

by Jose Chiramel

PINGULI, JULY 16, 2015: Pre-novices at Bosco Udyogshala, Pinguli undertook a four-day intensive course on group dynamics to help them identify possible problems within the group and formulate appropriate strategies for its resolution.

Father Glenford Lowe conducted the course that was aimed at deepening the relationships among the pre-novices and to help them grow as individuals.

The course was essentially an inward journey of discovering oneself, in order to strengthen the foundations of the group.

It was also an outward journey where the group shared their lives and built relationships like 'huge edifices'.

The pre-novices felt that the course greatly helped them to grow together as a group.  They now converse in the 'Group Dynamic Language'.

Group dynamics is a process that gives rise to a set of norms, roles, relations and common goals that characterise a particular social group.
