MUMBAI, FEB 4, 2015: The parish of Our Lady of Dolours, Wadala celebrated the feast of the Presentation of the Lord and the conclusion of the Year of Consecrated Life, with the presence of the First Communion candidates, and the Salesian family, together with the parishioners at the concelebrated Holy Eucharist in the evening.
The candidates for the First Communion were presented with the "I Believe" (a second step in their preparation) and they devoutly recited the Creed with the community. After the distribution of Communion and the final prayer, the Salesian fathers and sisters renewed their Vows as they held lighted candles in their hands.
The Salesian Cooperators then renewed their Promise together. Cooperators from three units were present at this renewal of Promise. The Prayer for Vocations, given by the Holy Father, Pope Francis was then recited.
