BIS #4675 ADMA MATUNGA WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS

MUMBAI, JAN 4, 2016: The celebration of the feast of Saint John Bosco, was enhanced with the reception of five new members to ADMA. They made their commitment in the crypt of the Shrine of Don Bosco's Madonna on January 30. The new members are from Kurla, Chembur, Wadala East and West and have attended a formation programme.

 

The Holy Eucharistic celebration was graced with the presence of the Provincial of the Mumbai province, Father Godfrey D'Souza and conducted by the Spiritual Director, Father Wilfred D'Souza. Also present, was the family of the new candidates and the members of ADMA who renewed their own commitment.

 

Those newly committed were presented with a badge designating their membership, as well as the book of regulations. Their names will now be inscribed in the register at the Primary Association in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Turin and they will share in the prayers and spiritual benefits of the Association.

 

This branch of the Salesian family was initiated by Saint John Bosco to assist lay faithful to grow in their Christian life. The group is in its fifth year and meet every first Saturday of the month to reflect on Doctrinal, Marian, Salesian and Ecclesial issues.
