BIS #4840 DON BOSCO, NERUL CELEBRATES ITS TOPPERS

NAVI MUMBAI, JUN 6, 2016: The students of standard ten and twelve did their institution, Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul, proud by producing a high pass percentage in their CBSE 2015-16 board examinations.  

 

A total of 72 students appeared for their standard ten examinations, out of which six secured 10 CGPA and 28 of them scored 9 CGPA. Sagar Nikam topped the batch with 95.2 per cent, Apeksha Shetty – a close second - with 94.6% and Vaishnavi Tiwari 94.4%.

 

Ninety students appeared for the standard twelve examination. Three students from the science stream and two from commerce stream scored more than 90 per cent. Gavin Henry Lewis topped science with 93.8% and Shreya Saxena with 92 per cent, while Bhavya Prakash Pai topped in the commerce stream with 90.8 per cent.

 

"I was preparing for some entrance exams, so boards seemed to be easy. The only book I referred was NCERT and along with that I solved some question papers," Saxena said.

 

The staff, students and parents of the school are now duly celebrating after their efforts have borne fruit.
