CHHOTAUDEPUR, SEP 10, 2016: Don Bosco in Chhotaudepur was the venue for the reunion of Salesian Cooperators of the Gujarat region and a seminar for students on the trending concepts in media, held on September 6.
Eleven Salesian cooperators attended the reunion that touched upon the various aspects of being one with the Salesian Family.
Father Christopher Valentino George – the resource person - in his address said, "Owing to the distance from the Salesian Institute and the place of work, the Cooperators often are helpless, though there is strong desire to render help." He added that in order to know Don Bosco, everyone must read about this saint who wanted his Salesians in sleeves and not in cassocks.
Over 200 high school students attended the other event at the venue that focused on the digital world of apps, search engines and softwares that are not only trendy but the need of the hour.
The youth raised questions and had their doubts clarified. Father George expressed delight over the curiosity and the intentions of the rural youth to fly high via the multimedia.
Lok Seva Kendra staff and its Director, Brother Ramesh Durairaj, organised the events.
