BIS #5086 TWO SALESIAN COOPERATORS MAKE A PROMISE

by BIS Correspondent

MUMBAI, APR 5, 2017: After many years, two candidates of the Don Bosco High School unit, Matunga had the joy of making their Promise on March 28 and becoming fully fledged Salesians as Salesian Cooperators.

Antoinette Fernandes and Chandran had eagerly looked forward to this day. They went through a formation programme and after regularly attending meetings and other Salfam programmes they felt prepared to take the step.

The delegate, Father Wilfred D'Souza saw to it that the event was a meaningful, spiritual experience; and was assisted by the provincial coordinator, Jacinta D'Souza.

Many of the family members made it a point to attend the Holy Mass, and with joy accompanied the two as they recited the words of their Promise. This was followed by a felicitation programme.
