KARJAT, JULY 25, 2017: Ninety four non-formal technical students of Don Bosco Yuva Sanstha (DBYS)and Mountain eco–spirituality adventure camp embarked on a trek to Vadapgav's waterfall mountain on July 22 to mark the end of the 22nd Training course for electricians at DBYS in Karjat.
Forty-six electricians, 18 refrigeration and air conditioning students, 13 welding students and 17 foundation students were part of the group that set out for the day-long picnic.
The monsoon splash in the waterfall ended with the group enjoying the speciality of Karjat, namely vada pav and tea. In all, 440 student electricians have got trained at the institute in a span of three months. Many have been successfully placed.
Following the picnic, 22 electrical students were felicitated at the morning assembly. Students sang the Bollywood tune, 'Chalte Chalte mera ye geet yad rakhna', to bid farewell to the class of 2017.
