NAVI MUMBAI, JULY 11, 2018: 250 students of the newly elected school council from Don Bosco, Nerul took oath at the Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2018-19, which was held on July 7, also the feast day of Saint Dominic Savio, the patron saint of the youth.
Father Cletus D’Souza conferred badges and sashes to the head boy and head girl, while the Principal Father Donald Fernandez conferred the badges and sashes to the house captains. The class council members were conferred the house tie and batches by the respective class teachers.
The head boy, Arhant in his acceptance speech, referred to the need of self-discipline and integrity in every member of the school council. Father Fernandez congratulated the school council members and advised them to be positive role models as leaders lead by example.
He reminded the students to actively support the school council to uphold the values the school stands for. Father Fernandez then led the school in the concluding prayer.
