MUMBAI, DEC 3, 2018: Bosco Boys Home Technical Institute, Borivli follows a concept of ‘giving the best and for the best’ for the students of the Home. In keeping with this belief, the Institute renovated the workshops, washrooms, and also constructed a state-of-art conference hall for the better growth and development of the students in their respective trades of electrical, two-wheeler (Yahama), automobile, refrigeration and air conditioning, and hotel management training programmes.
The conference hall was named ‘Don Bosco Conference Hall’. It was inaugurated by Hans-Jürgen Dörrich, Head of Corporate Cooperation, Don Bosco Mondo, Germany and blessed by Father Corlis Gonsalves, Rector of Bosco Boys Home, Borivli.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp. It was followed by the felicitation programme, before which the hall was inaugurated and the renovated workshops were blessed.
Dörrich, in his speech, said, “I am very happy for you the students of Bosco Boys Home Technical Institute. The management and the staff are providing you with great infrastructure. Make good use for these facilities for your growth and become well-trained professionals.”
Father Gonsalves, the Rector and Director of the Institute thanked Dörrich and Father Solomon Rapol for their presence and loving support. Nikhil Shinde, one of the students, said, “It is very nice. Now we will have separate workshops for our practical classes and also a conference hall where we can have sessions and seminars on various courses.”
